Automotive Science Group (ASG) Dubs Nissan "Best Environmental Performance Brand" of 2017

And top honors from the lifecycle data-driven, environmental policy consultancy research group for Nissan's commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental protection went to the automaker's Rogue and Pathfinder models, for all-around and optimal economic performance in their classes, as well as to Nissan Versa and LEAF, which were named among the top selections in the categories of Compact Cars and Midsize Cars respectively. And along with the accolades, the four Nissan models came out among the top vehicles in their categories in the group's 2017 Automotive Performance Index (API), with an eye to purchase and operating costs during the first 6.5 years of ownership.

ASG’s annual study gave special callout for the Nissan embodiment of "exceptional environmental integrity" from production to distribution. One can surely see this in each offering. The 2017 Nissan Rogue and Pathfinder each demonstrated, according to metrics, the top combined environmental, social and economic attributes, with Rogue competing against and surmounting 146 other midsize SUV contenders and Pathfinder speeding to victory over 127 similar full-size SUV models.

Clinton Nissan surely understands the praise. There's plenty else to appreciate with each. 2017 Nissan Rogue has a sleek new look, expanded utility and a host of Nissan Safety Shield technologies to make it a veritable road owner, and 2017 Rogue Sport will hit the urban crossover market soon. 2017 Nissan Pathfinder speaks similarly, with a fresh exterior and safety features and tech to boot. And let's not forget the roominess and zippy 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine of the 2017 Nissan Versa. Feel free to stop by our Clinton, IA showroom and see for yourself!
